On September 4, a Street Workout World Cup 2016 stage in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk took place on the KENGURU.PRO portable modular street workout grounds.
The competitions were organized by the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region – Yugra, World Street Workout and Calisthenics Federation (WSWCF), Russian Street Workout Federation (RSWF) and company KENGURU.PRO.
Street Workout World Cup consists of 18 stages, which take place in different countries — Spain, Germany, Mexico, USA, Canada, Brazil, Taiwan, South Africa, Latvia, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Poland, Italy, Guadeloupe, Morocco, Egypt, Croatia and United Arab Emirates. The Super Final will be held in Beijing, China, in December this year.
18 athletes from Russia and 4 representatives of street workout movements of Sweden, Croatia, Finland and Spain participated in the stage. The level of training and strength of athletes was very high, because the competition brought to together the strongest street workout athletes from many parts of the world.
Russian athletes took the first places in this stage of the Street Workout World Cup! Third place was won by Valery Kishchenko from Omsk, the second place in the final protocol was strongly taken by Ruslan Minachovy, a representative of Chelyabinsk. The victory was celebrated by Nikita Anisimov, a street athlete form Moscow, who received a ticket to the Super Final of the World Cup in Beijing.
